Phil Stark lmft
My approach to therapy is relational and client-centered. We will develop an awareness of what makes you feel the way you feel and do the things you do, and then identify what you want to change and how to go about it.
Before becoming a therapist I was a writer and producer in the entertainment industry. I often work with creative professionals on issues involving the artistic process, imposter syndrome, and the inner critic.

I'm also a man, a father, and someone who changed careers mid-life, so I work well with men regarding issues like relationship conflict, parenting, career changes, anger, anxiety, and the midlife.

I enjoy working with couples, emphasizing the process of recognizing and resolving conflict in ways that improve relationships.
I also provide work couples therapy, involving non-romantic partners like writing teams, co-founders, and business partners.

My goal for you in therapy is to feel better about yourself and happier with your life.
Sound good? Let's talk.
